FRIENDS OF THE POOR WALK (7TH ANNUAL)

Friends help friends! We met for a two mile fun walk/run on September 30 at Scotch Ridge Nature Park in Carlisle.  The walk began at the Carlisle Middle School and all attending enjoyed live music, food and beverages. The two trails are beautiful. For those who went all the way through to the West end and did not wish to walk back uphill, we provided a shuttle for a ride back to the Middle School.  Many door prizes were awarded (Applebee’s, Chucks Restaurant gift cards)!  The event was hosted by St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Elizabeth Seton Conference Carlisle. We help those in need in the Carlisle area including utilities aid, holiday baskets, food, clothing, furniture and transportation.

If you would like to make a donation, you can visit our website at www.fopwalk.org/event/1797/ until the end of October.
