WHY WE ARE BUILDING

Outdated & Undersized

The current hall and kitchen were built in 1979 for a much smaller parish. It lacks the capacity, accessibility, and modern amenities our parish needs today

Growing Ministries

Youth and adult faith formation, OCIA, Knights of Columbus, Ladies Guild, Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, and other programs complete for limited space. Groups currently have difficulty meeting simultaneously.

Fellowship & Hospitality

Parish dinners, receptions, funeral lunches, sacramental celebrations, and community events are constrained by cramped seating, an outdated kitchen, and the need to constantly convert the space for worship and events.

Stewardship of God's Gifts

Investing now avoids escalating repair costs on an aging kitchen facility and increasing costs for new building, positioning our parish to serve faithfully for generations to come

OUR VISION

A PARISH HALL BUILT FOR MINISTRY, FELLOWSHIP, AND TO SERVE GENERATIONS TO COME.

The Forward in Faith capital campaign will support the current building phase for our parish expansion.

This includes:
- Building of a multi-purpose parish hall seating 200+ people.
- Commercial-grade kitchen for parish events
- Repurposing of current kitchen.

Future phases will address other needs such as a new sanctuary, conversion of existing sanctuary, and new classrooms.

TIMELINE

As with all fundraising for facility improvements, our timeline will depend on how quickly we can raise the money needed to support our building plans.

The current hall is part of the church and must be cleaned up after each event and set up again for Mass. It would be nice not to have to put up and take down tables every time we have an event in the hall. The air venting system can never be properly fixed. If we don't get the new hall, we have additional investments to make each time our old appliances need repairs or need to be replaced.

God’s plan was never for us to serve him in solitude or make our faith journeys alone. We are here to learn, grow, and deepen our faith together as a community. We’ve grown as a parish, but without the physical space to continue to grow in numbers and in God’s presence, we risk not being able to pull in those who are seeking community and fellowship in our parish.
