Parishioners Gene & Kathy Proud of their Emmy Winning Daughter!

Parishoners Gene and Kathy Needles could not be prouder of their daughter Colleen Needles Steward who is President and CEO of Tremendous Entertainment Inc.  Colleen’s production company produced the adventure series “Rock the Park” that explored America’s epic National Parks.  Just recently Colleen and her staff were the proud recipients of an Emmy for “Outstanding Travel Program.”

As proud parents, Gene provided us with an exclusive video of the BIG MOMENT

We at St. Elizabeth’s are proud as well!  The next time Colleen and her family are in town and at Mass, perhaps she’ll bring her Emmy and sign autographs!

Colleen is always on the hunt for the next brilliant idea and has discovered that the ones scribbled on the back of cocktail napkins are usually the best. With more than 30 years of television experience, she spearheads the company’s new show development and oversees the production of hundreds of hours of programming.
Colleen began her career in television news at WCCO-TV, a CBS owned and operated station, and quickly became an award-winning news anchor covering local, national and world news from Europe, Africa, New Guinea, Central and South America and from behind the news desk.
In 1995, Colleen founded Tremendous! Entertainment so she could tell stories that are more than a minute and a half long and provide unprecedented access to fascinating places and people around the world. The company has been breaking new ground ever since with award winning programs like Bizarre Foods, The Last Rhino, Lifeline – Mayo Clinic, The Happiness Advantage, Off Pitch, and Condition Black.

Rock the ParkRock the Park (The CW) is an adventure series showcasing two lifelong buddies as they go off the beaten path to explore America’s epic national parks.
