Jubilee of Mercy started on December 8th with Pope Francis opening the Holy Doors at St. Peter’s Basilica. This is a year long Celebration of God’s forgiveness and love. Locally, eight churches in Iowa will have Holy Doors for pilgrimage sites, including St. Ambrose Cathedral, Basilica of St. John, Our Lady of the Americas,St. Patrick in Bayard, Holy Spirit in Creston, St. Patrick in Council Buffs, St. Joseph in Earling, and St. Patrick in Imogene.
